Doosan, a global leading brand of construction equipment, manufactured by Doosan Infracore, South Korea is the fifth largest construction equipment manufacturer in the world.

Invicta Holdings Limited acquired Doosan South Africa (Pty) Limited. The deal with Doosan, a Korean owned heavy earthmoving equipment company, was effective on 1 April 2008.

The company, now known as DISA Equipment (Pty) Limited (DISA - Doosan Infracore SA), t/a Doosan, continues to distribute all three product lines throughout Southern Africa, namely, crawler excavators, wheel excavators and wheel loaders.

Doosan has established a strong presence in South Africa in the last ten years, through its quality branded heavy earthmoving equipment and is committed to broadening its service in the local construction, mining and quarrying sectors.

During the past 10 years, the local operation placed over a 1000 units into the construction,
civils, mining and re-handling industries, which indicates confidence in the well respected Doosan brand, from a loyal customer base.

With the sound backing of Invicta Holdings, DISA Equipment’s branch and distributor network retains its own corporate identity and operates separately from Invicta’s other construction operations.

Doosan has branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Wolmaransstad and dealers in Mpumalanga, Kimberley, East London, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
